I have found that what works best after a meeting like yours is to find one thing that we can all do together - it does not have to be big - but it is in the doing that the issues can be seen more clearly.

Credit Crisis Shakes Confidence In Student Loans

The federal student loan program has helped tens of millions of students pay for college. But with the economy in a downward spiral, lenders have been pulling out. Funding for new loans has dried up. For the first time, public confidence in the program seems shaky.

Top Iraqis Seek Timetable For U.S. Withdrawal

Iraq's national security adviser says there won't be a security deal with the U.S. unless it contains dates for the withdrawal of U.S.-led troops. On Monday, the country's prime minister said he expects the deal to include a timetable for withdrawal.

Southern Ohio Monitors Spread Of Kudzu.

Long synonymous with the Deep South, Kudzu may now be creeping its way north. The fast growing vine, which is native to Japan, has been growing for decades in parts of southern Ohio, but climate change may make the state even more hospitable to kudzu in coming decades. Though it isn't yet the scourge here that it is in the South, efforts are under way to make Ohio Kudzu-free.

Sentence Is Pending In Ohio Workers Comp Case.

A federal court is hoping to wrap up what a judge has described as the longest sentencing hearing he has ever seen. The sentence is expected Tuesday for investment adviser Mark Lay, who was convicted of fraud charges in the loss of $216 million at the Ohio Bureau of Workers'Compensation.
